We might be into May, but it still hardly looks like spring. The grass still isn't green, and there aren't any leaves on the trees yet. But it'll come soon, I suppose. I'm starting to get impatient! That looks SUPER pretty, but I too am a fan of geekier-looking Schmendrick. He has to look like... well, a schmendrick!

Man,I need to reread that book.... <3

Also, that music is awesome! I think I'll have to give it a download! I have a lot of folk in my library, but not enough big-band sound.

Precisely! Though I'm sure I'll get used to the slightly less-dorky look, it just doesn't quite fit with how I feel he should be :Va

And I need to re-read that book too. It's been ages, ahhh. My copy is kind of falling apart.

Soooo think i said i shouldn't take time to hear all that album now but... i like what i've heard so far, so seeing it uploaded anyway... /downloads - thanks! <3
(+ i'm passing on the rec to my dad, which is why it caught my attention in the first place - folk is his kind of stuff and he's enthusiastic about trumpets&things)

I never knew until quite recently there was even any Last Unicorn version beyond the novel, but that book's lovely! -- and (unlike the movie) looks from what i can see like perhaps it lets me imagine the butterfly as a blue morpho, i like them lots ~

ah i actually feel like i missed out on something big when people talk about the last unicorn because it wasn't ever part of my childhood but that book is amazingly pretty, wow (and hardcovers are always nice to own, past the price)

..i should really get around to watching the film, it's been on my mental list for 5 years or something haha

!!! You should see iiiiitttt some time. It's lovely. And I think that it will hold up relatively well even without nostalgia goggles, because in general it's just a very well-put-together film, hmm. :Va
