good to hear the job is going okay! hopefully standing up for so long will get less strenuous/headache-inducing after a while. and idk about other people but i find that when my schedule is slightly fuller, i get other things done in my "free" time more efficiently? sometimes when there's too much time i get nothing done but maybe that's just me haha
ahh ahhh that sounds great, i hope you do get to travel soon!!
i don't really understand the whole concept of thanksgiving but HAPPY THANKSGIVING ANYWAY, i hope it turns out better than usual. and people put up with spam, they did during my 4am eurovision/world cup/olympic mornings asdf yayy hockey
Hmm, you have a good point about full schedules. On the other hand, there's the whole "coming home too exhausted to do anything" part... ehhh, I don't know, I suppose when I get used to it I'll figure something out. :|b
Me too, I do hope this will work out <3 Ahh it'll be summer, which suddenly seems so close. Gaskdsdkfjf it's kind of scary.
And THANK YOU --- to be honest, I don't really "get" Thanksgiving either. Especially since we don't really have the same legend/story/whatever about it that the Americans do. For us it seems to be just an excuse to eat turkey and have a day off. :Va
And re: spam, you would be surprised. though yes, for the most part people are good about it, ahahah ;;;
That job sounds like a pain, but at least the money's worth it. I don't suppose they'd let you drink coffee on the job, huh? That'd probably help with the whole being tired and headache-y thing at least...
Also, Fiiinlaaand. *_* When you go, you must post pictures and tell us all about it so I can live vicariously through you. I hope you're parents don't get too angry with you when you tell them.
The money is so worth it, yes. And nay, coffee on the job is a no, but... well, I'm sure that I'll get used it eventually. Usually takes me two weeks to adjust to retail stuff. So it shouldn't be a problem. :|b
Finland, Finland, Finland~ ♪ ♫ ♪ I'll be sure to do so! And write entries about it! Though who knows how it will really end up, but anyway. Ohhhhlawd. Trust me, they will be Very Displeased. There's nothing there! And they have no culture over there! And it's, omg, way too close to Russia! GASP. Gag me. But it's not like it's Poland or anything (sigh) so I think they'll ease up after a while.
Yeah, it actually isn't that bad at all. It's just adjusting to it that's a pain... but after two weeks or so I'm sure my feet will be used to it, and once I know everything, it'll all be fine.
And yes, you're right. <3 Even though my friend speaks English very well, I still should learn some stuff because -- well, just because. It's a good excuse. And it's exciting and ahaslkdjfkldfj the very thought makes me all flaily ahhh

I hope you adjust to your job quickly- if you are anything like me, adjusting to changes sucks, but the job itself doesn't sound bad.
And, travelling to Finland gives you even more of an excuse to learn the language! It sounds really exicting, to have that to look forward to.
