It's true. It's a bit crazy, I know, but I adore cheesy sci-fi.

I was really looking forward to Virtuality this year then it got cancelled.

Do you guys have any shows like that?

I shall endeavour to use this space more as an ability to keep reviews for novels and books abounding, I think.

I did just find a website: Infloox that might make things work out a bit better. It seems to catalog similarities and influences on books.

I've been trying to find a good book list, place. That...might be one to check.

I find it hard, sometimes, to look at YA novels easily.

There's so many out there (yeah, lookin' at you a bit Twilight) that don't really develop character super well.

That might be why I was so excited to find melissa_writing's work - YA fantasy that isn't cheesy (well, overly), but with really developed characters.

I'm not overtly sure how to use this site - as a blog? A journal? - It seems set up for both.

I'm going in to be a librarian, but it's always interesting to see What people suggest for YA readers
