Recently I went to Germany -- mainly Berlin, but also a day in Lübeck -- for three days, followed by Sweden -- mainly Stockholm, but also a day in Malmö -- for three more. Pictures are forthcoming ... blame J, they're on his camera.

Ohh, fascinating tidbit about Berlin. Ankh-Morpork is built on Ankh-Morpork, but Berlin is what keeps Berlin from sinking.

Several Nordic countries were invaded and occupied during WW2; they just seem to have avoided being bombed. Sweden of course remained neutral, for certain definitions of the term.
