It appalls me how this fandom cannot appreciate truly great works such as these, and flock aplenty instead to ones where things are rather generic.Thank you. I read it today and it was amazing as always! The first part warmed my heart, I'm so happy Mitsuo was able to finally find him! He is such a good friend! But when he mentioned that phone call, it made me wonder - who could have called him as Ruki's mom, and why? Wanted they checking up if he really broke all his contact with his old life? I don't even know allowed they to contact those people or not...
But the last part with Aoi was so sad! It means he will never appear in the story again? I liked his character! Ruki's decision concerned him deeply, but I assume he has this same experience with every lost patient... just Ruki is Ruki .. he simply isn't on the same level as the others. They had interesting conversations, and they started to consider the other as friend. Which only makes him harder to let Ruki to go...

what evilgeniuskoji said about permanents being like vampires - I haven't had this impression before, but now, the beginning of this chapter reminded me of True Blood, the supplement being like the synthetic blood in bottles, you know. it's interesting, because [what has nothing at all to do with your fic here and I'm rambling away like whoah] I particularly liked the bottled blood idea in True Blood and wished it was paid more attention to in the series. so I like it that you'repaying attention to it and that your permanents seem well planned and executed as an element of the world of the story. [lol, I'm confusing myself now.]
the meeting with Mitsuo was very entertaining to read, a lighter part of this chapter, although suspicious nevertheless [sings, I think I'm paranoid~]. mother called? he thought Ruki dead?

I hope you don't mind if I friend you... good fanfiction authors are hard to find, and I lost track of all my favorites about a year ago. This chapter was excellentttt I didn't even know this was supposed to be yaoi until i caught sight of the uruxruki pairing in the tags, I was kind of rooting for mitsuoxruki, because they are so awesome together. ;P
