...I feel really, really stupid for commenting only praise for this fanfic, but since I probably know fuck-all about sci-fi, I can say this; way to go to making a fanfic that isn't fluff, isn't sex, but something well-written and tangible in its own way.

In short, I find this story incredible and can't wait to see what happens next.

Yeah, yaoi is 'very' secondary in this story. Actually, I thought this would be a problem but I'm glad it's not : laughs:

Is the book Murakami Haruki's "Wind-Up Bird Chronicle"? (ねじまき鳥クロニクル) I have that book (though i was only able to get the English translation :/) and I love it. :3 (If it's that one. XD)
