I've been very general about that. The ones that went out before the deadline, I was kind of saying "early afternoon!" Which for me kind of means 1-2 pm Eastern time. The ones after I said late afternoon/early evening, so 5-6 pm -- but as early as you can is fabulous!

It's actually kind of hard for me to check and see who doesn't have anything; I may have to post in the morning, and ask people to comment if they don't have a gift showing up/nothing comes up when they search their name.

And yes, on the pinch hitters! They are currently all a lovely spice shade! *g*

I ditto this, wholeheartedly. Wrangling the pinch-hits and the assurance that everybody will end up with a story is a huge task, but without it, this challenge wouldn't be nearly so happy-making.
