Iiiii am going to have to say I'd rather discourage homemade because I don't want customs to impound your baked goods, and I'm worried that they'll get there too late for them to be at their best or safest.

Hmmm... if baked goods are out of question, there won't be many typically Christmassy options left.

Btw. you might add this tidbit to the info about the exchange, since further down on this page I saw cjk1701 write about sending Spekulatius and Stollen... which are both baked goods. I guess there might be others who thought about doing the same thing (sending homemade cookies 'n stuff).

That's AWESOME. I can't wait now - after Christmas dinner with Grandma & Grandpa, we get a whole giant box of Stollen and Spitzbuben to take home. :D
