A lot of people warned me that The Muppets was good and a true sequel to The Muppet Movie. No one warned me that it began with a nostalgia-tinted helicopter shot of clouds against a blue sky, nor that there was a picture of Kermit and Jim Henson framed on the wall of Kermit's office. On the Phantom 25th Anniversary CD...
They kept in Andrew Lloyd Webber's creepy stalkery speech about how Sarah Brightman will always be his angel of music! At least on the CD there aren't the visuals of him trying to get close to her and put his hands all over her, while she has to ask Michael Crawford to stand between them and protect her, but still, the fact that I know it's going ( Read more... ) -

I'm clearing out my bookshelves a bit, and thought I'd see if anyone wants things before I give them to charity. They're over at dreamwidth. -
A random thought
If I was the Moff, I'd retroactively add the Silence into the background of several scenes within Season 5 on the DVD release. Very subtly. You wouldn't even notice them if you weren't looking for them, and maybe you did notice on first viewing and you forgot ( Read more... ) -

Apparently one of the examiner's reports is back. It's only been 6 weeks, I don't want to have to think about my thesis yet. The other examiners better take their sweet time, or I will be very put out. -
A note to all students
smudge6699 at youtube is not a credible reference for your essay. Cite the pirated documentary he's uploaded by its true name and publisher/distributor, and don't tell me that you watched the pirate version.
