Ji, you are simply made of awesome.

I'm sad that the comment didn't get emailed to me because I really was looking forward to replying to her. eyesdelight, that story was probably the hardest for me to write out of any story I've written, and I spent a really really long time

I couldn't believe my luck when I saw that my author wrote Meerkat Manor fic because I figured it would be the most obscure of my requests. And it was wonderful! Just the perfect blend of seriousness and humor, and Zaphod's practicality ultimately shines through. Thank you for a brilliant Yuletide gift!

And if you ever decide to post "No Mating for Carlos" somewhere, I'd love to read it! :D

Dear Recipient: This was an incredibly fun, challenging story to write and turned into something far beyond what I'd envisioned when I offered the fandom. Your comment meant a lot to me that I'd hit all the right notes in working with the whole cast of characters, the baseball, and of course, The Trump.

Thanks to all the commenters. I'm glad you liked the Yiddish and the Sol/Reuben interaction. That was amazing fun to do.
