Fandom Brainstorming!

I'm trying to get things going earlier this year, although it's doubtful the actual assignments will go out a full month earlier than last year. *g* This post is a placeholder for Yuletide participants to use to brainstorm and work out which six fandoms they want to nominate when the Nominations form goes live! This is purely informal, and no information will be culled from comments made to this post -- to actually submit fandoms, you will use the Nomination form, which won't be live for a while yet.
Please feel free to comment at will, talk amongst yourselves, and/or link to posts you make elsewhere about your own wibbling and internal negotiations and process of elimination!
To help in the process, here are links to the Ginormous List of Fandoms (tm) from 2005, the List of 2006 Nominated Fandoms, and the corresponding list of fandoms/characters for 2006, I believe. The Ginormous List is merely for brainstorming purposes; not all fandoms on it are still eligible for Yuletide, so keep that in mind. And remember that TV shows at least ten years old which are currently fairly inactive are eligible.
