Setting up and grouping a secondary/alternate nick to your main nick
Syntax: LINK alternate nickname
Why use an alternate nick? Not everyone needs to, but one use for an alternate nickname here in #yulechat is when you're Hippo-ing: Your Hippo handle is protected the same way your registered normal nick is.
Grouping an alternate nick here on this server seems to work differently from other places I've been. Use /msg nickserv link whilst under your primary nick. Note your primary nick MUST be already registered before you can link more nicks to it, and the alternate nick you want to link must be unregistered and not currently in use by someone else.
Example: My primary nick is luminareardua, and I want to link an alternate nick Sefiriot. I first login and identify to NickServ as luminareardua. I then type /msg NickServ link Sefiriot. Done!
Unlinking your nicks: UNLINK nickname
Ghosting your nick and other things you can do with nick commandsSyntax: GHOST nickname [password
