Not my nomination, but I noticed that "21 Jump Street (2012)" has a couple of duplicate characters.

"Greg Jenko" and "Jenko (21 Jump Street)" - the same person (Channing Tatum's character).
"Morton Schmidt" and "Schmidt (21 Jump St)" - the same person (Jonah HIll's character).

I'm not sure which version of their names is 'more correct' and belongs in the archive, but thought I'd point it out to eliminate possible confusion!

Just double checked - the double Jenko is gone, but the double Schmidt is still there.

Thanks again!

Howl no Ugoku Shiro | Howl's Moving Castle has some duplicate characters. I think it's pulling from the book character set.

It has both Howl (Howl no Ugoku Shiro) and Howl Pendragon as well as both Sophie (Howl no Ugoku Shiro) and Sophie Hatter.

For Under The Dome (TV) Elinor "Norrie" Calvert and Norrie Calvert-Hill are the same person. According to IMDB Norrie Calvert-Hill is the correct version of her name.

Under Literary RPF, Nathaniel Hawthorne is the only one without (Literary RPF) after his name, which affects alphabetisation.

In Le Pacte des Loups | Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001), Mani appears twice:

Mani
Mani (Les Pacte des Loups | Brotherhood of the Wolf)

In the second of these, if that's what you're going with, it should actually be Le Pacte... not Les.

And under Elementary (TV), um, maybe the nominator had their reasons, but (spoilers) aren't Irene Adler and Moriarty the same person?

We chose to allow duplicates of that sort, especially where a spoilery identity was involved.

Working on the rest.

I really have to protest that. Irene is Moriarty and any other interpretation is simply not canonical. One person's ~headcanon~ that separates the two aliases could destroy matching within this fandom, and as a person who planned to request this character I am now in an incredibly awkward position for making my request, as are all the people who might write her. Lots of characters, from Bruce Wayne to Jason Bourne to Amanda Clarke to basically the entire cast of Orphan Black, use aliases. That adds to their character, and to divide them this way is infuriatingly reductive and antithetical to the entire concept of character.

It's not really a spoiler four months after the episode has aired. Please prioritise ease of matching over protecting a plot point that everyone already knows.

I'm not the one who nominated it, but in the American Girls - Molly fandom, the character should be Emily Bennett, not Elizabeth Bennett.

Although that might make for an interesting crossover...
