well. ceiling's stopped dripping water. it has a few cracks in it now.

i asked for it to rain, not for a boiler pipe to burst and for water to leak through the ceiling into the living room.

yay. it's raining. hope it rains all the way till friday.

not long now.

all this sunshine, and an exam to study for.

more specifically, an exam which i'm convinced i am so not prepared for.

and no proper ice cream to be found in all 3 newsagents, except stupid colourful kiddy lollies, which are probably glow-in-the-dark, thanks to all the E numbers.

bah!

they're so not 'sorry to keep (me) waiting'! bloody instrumental christmas carols that they keep playing. i'll take silence anytime. that does nothing except raise my blood pressure from 110/70 (measured today at ze doc's) to possibly 200/150 (what it feels like now).

these days i forget i actually have a degree, because working at the shop, doing the same things as someone without a degree, gets me that way.
