Everyone moves at a different pace. Some know where they belong earlier in life while other search for where they belong.
Some of us are born as adults while others grow into it.
Perhaps you feel like you are not an adult because you compare yourself to your friends. But honestly,if you can be responsible for yourself, in my opinion you are already an adult.
You shouldn't let what society deems as an adult to give you unnecessary pressure.
thank you for a serious answer! to tell you the truth, I don't care much for what society thinks, and my former classmates getting married or having kids - that was just an example. I don't plan to get married anytime soon, and having kids is very high positioned on my list of horrors and top personal failures.
as usual I'm unable to express myself properly I guess. but it's more about that it seems, looking at all these people, that they are getting somewhere, and I feel like I'm not moving forward at all. it's not pressure from society, it comes from within, from my very own need to stand on my own two feet. I'm probably a bit too ambitious when it comes to being self-sufficient. you could say the need for speed is, in this case, much greater than the safe speed limits, huh...
