I arrived at work on September 12th* to be greeted with news of the hijacking(s) and proceeded (along with most of the office) to be glued to the TV watching the events unfold while in a state of disbelief...

*Note that I live in New Zealand which is 17 hours ahead of American Eastern Time.

Woke up, put on CNN just in time to watch the second plane crash. Yelled for Spousie and 30min later called office to say I would not be coming in.
