She is indeed shiny. I'm petrified that I'm gonna lose her stylus (it lives in this little insert at the top left corner) and I probably will sooner or later, but I can buy new ones from the company fairly cheaply. Right now I really need a case, though!
I'm sure you'll be fine. And perhaps what you might think about doing is making a tether for the stylus to the case you have in mind? Attach a long brightly colored ribbon with a bit of velcro on the end or something, to make it easier to find if you drop it? Something like that? *shrug*
Thenkyew! And, following the email above, I found a pattern for an eBook reader cover on Etsy that I could buy for pretty cheap; gonna make it tonight. **happy** I have some old silk kimono-fabric in blue/purple that'll work beautifully.
I will definitely bring her by for much pettins, but did John ask you about maybe doing a Thursday instead of a Friday? Think maybe we're heading out Friday to Lann's. Up to y'all entirely, just let me know and I'll be there with socks on (I don't do bells.)
Yeah he did though I think Morgan works Thursday. On the other hand if you want to come over Thursday then I will be forced *cough* to Watch White Collar with her again on Friday. Oh, the pain and suffering. But I am willing to take that hit for the team.
You're a strong woman! I respect that strength! Far be it from me to take from you one of life's character-building challenges! I'll see you this Thursday! And I shall bring fried chicken to bolster your spirits!
Very nice! I'm anxious to see how it works for you.
I was unaware of Hypatia, but I really want to learn more about her now. I'm convinced the burning of the library at Alexandria is one of the great human tragedies.
Totally agree. And Hypatia's a fascinating character in history; she's been maligned, praised, credited with all sorts of crimes and inventions, and it has to be considered that most of what's known about her is from the viewpoint of the victors, her enemies. Whatever kind of person she really was, she was strong and intelligent enough to be remembered sixteen centuries after her death. I've been fascinated by her since the first time I heard of her.

It looks so cute - I keep having to remind myself not to change my mind about the one I bought whenever I see a different model.
