Been playing with the Gaia avatar program for the last 15 minutes or so, just to amuse myself; I've done this a bunch of times, but it's always fun to produce a new avatar:

**grins** I did try. The ferrets were new additions to the Gaia thing, I think. Thing is, I want to try to find sneakers like that! Me and my love of brightly-patterned shoes and socks... I'll let you know how the Neo turns out, believe me. ^__^

Thenkyew veddy much! I like 'em too. That's a fun little program to goof around with, though it's definitely a time-waster. Better that than People Of Walmart, I guess... **shudder**

Many thanks! I did one of Linda and John each too once-- I still have 'em somewhere.

hope it's not the last Tiffany book in the Discworld series

In the last couple of months, I heard an interview with Sir Terry on the steam radio, in which he said (amongst much else) that, because of his condition, he is now using dictation software instead of typing and finds his productivity has gone up rather than down as one would expect.

Which leads me to expect that there will be more Tiffany Aching down the track, unless a more terminal condition intervenes...

BTW that was an interesting twist at the end, eh?

That's excellent news. I got to meet him at the Discworld Con last year; he was terribly nice, and when I brought some books up to be signed (I drew #13 in the signing-draw, which amused me no end) I asked him what the most unusual thing he'd ever autographed so far was. He gave me this dignified nod and announced very clearly: "A lady's tits!" and explained that a lovely young woman had had him sign her right breast and then had gone out and gotten the signature tattooed on permanently. His editor was sitting beside him when he told me this, and she just covered up her face with both hands and kind of whimpered. XD XD XD I was totally charmed.

..and yeah, that last twist at the end-- I really loved that. And the Feegles, out in the open! There goes the neighborhood...
