Haven't done a 'State of the Ysabet' post in a while, so I figured hey, it's as good a way of delaying cleaning the ferret-room as anything else, sooooo....

Hmm.  Been lots of things going on with me, I guess--

STUFF! AND MORE STUFF! AND YET MORE STUFF! )

family, travel, life as i know it

The traveling sounds lovely. I bet you will have a great time no matter if you go alone or with someone.

*hugs just because I can*

We need to do lunch again soon and talk about only good/happy things. I really enjoyed the company and the meal even if the doing business part wasn't so fun.

The pure fact that I haven't quit over the past month is, most probably, due to my dislike of job-hunting and the terror of being jobless in the current economy.

Totally with ya in that boat. If the boy didn't just quit his job and if I didn't like having a steady paycheck so much...I'd be out the door. But best of luck on the job search if you ever decide to embark! :)

I missed the troll, but glad to hear s/he's gone. I suck at commenting (since I almost never have anything to say besides "Love it! I want update now!"), but definitely still loving Three Thieves. If ya'll ever discontinue the story, I'll hunt ya'll down. :P

Love reading the "State of the Ysabet." Keep'em coming! :)

**nods** I utterly loathe job-hunting. I've been at my current place for more than 7 years, and though it drives me batshit on occasion, it does keep a roof over my head. I could just really do with less of the batshit, though. x__x

Urgh, the troll. You didn't miss much, believe me. As for discontinuing, don't worry! Heh; if you only knew some of our plans, or what we've already written at this point... See, any time you see a chapter posted, we have about a dozen more already written. A DOZEN. And oh, the next heist... **cackles** Just you wait. And if you want to request a particular omake, please do; we need the ideas!

We got some Royal Albert from my mum and it ain't as fragile as it looks.

$WIFE decided recently that if we didn't use it it wasn't worth having so it's getting use now (all the kids having left home helps!). I'd be wary of sticking it in the dishwasher if it's more than 10 years old though - you'll lose the pattern and gold trim if you do - hand wash only I'd recommend.

Enjoy your travels! We're embarking on a Grand Tour in August - Singapore, Turkey, Greece, Bavaria, Italy, Switzerland, France, winding up with family in London then home to Upper Hutt after 5 weeks on the trail...

Dude, Pittsburgh? I'm in Morgantown, an hour south. I'm tempted to go up to Anthrocon and meet you. And maybe Ursula Vernon.

YOU ARE?? Oh, DO it! nightengale and I'll be in the Dealer's Room-- look for somebody selling a ton of really good animal-eared hats and hand-made plushies (her business-name is 'Nightengale Needleworks'), that'll be us. And I had *totally* spaced on the fact that Ursula Vernon'll be there-- I read Digger religiously, and I've got her Punk!Hummingbird hanging up in my work-cubie right now. Come see us! ^_____^

I love Digger. I've occasionally described it as "Alice In Wonderland, if Alice were a structural engineer."
