|Am feeling slightly better, but think I'm still running fever.  Am massively cranky and not wanting to go to work; just checked my forehead, and uh-uh, not going in, 'cause getting coworkers sick two days before Thanksgiving would be ALL sorts of good.  I'll call the appropriate people (have already called my boss) and take care of whatever I can.

Cut for crankiness )

growling at the world, godsdamn finances, health

^__^ **snuggles back** Voice is kinda scratchy (this showed up with a sore throat, and one of my coworkers has strep and I'm a touch worried about that) so I probably won't call, but it's nice to know I can. Give the boys our hellos tonight, okay? And any random Virtual Headscritches will be gratefully accepted. Bob's curled up next to me, taking care of me; he'd probably like some too.

Actually, they had their own Thanksgiving last night - it was wonderful - and tonight they won't be calling. I've wasted my whole day putzing around, so I'll need tonight just to get ready for tomorrow and the weekend :O

*snuggles you* Remember, this is your last month to pay the car. LAST MONTH!!! All sorts of squee there!

Also, I'm going to Alabama next week. Wanna raid my pantry, etc. and take some groceries from there? That way they won't go to waste.

Sorry I was such a grouch myself the other night. I wrote my post largely for you, Linda, and Icka, because I knew you guys were worried about me. Also, if you need me to run any errands for you today, let me know! *squish*

This is true, and it helps. Alabama? Family, huh? Have fun, and maybe, yes.

...and apology accepted. And necessary. I read your post, and I'm glad you were read the riot act, because frankly you needed it. I do horribly juvenile behavior often enough to recognize it in somebody else, and you'd just about made it back to puberty by the time I dropped the conversation, and I was pretty fed up. Keep this in mind: you got to that point once, you'll probably get there again... so remember what it felt like and figure out ways to dig yourself out. That kind of state of mind gets you *less* than nowhere, it makes finding your way out that much harder. And gods know, you've got enough stumbling-blocks to deal with right now; don't add to them.

**hugs very hard** Glad you're back. No, no errands; gonna curl back up in a sec and sleep some more, stupid fever's trying to put in an encore. Thanks, though.

I'm looking forward to a day off out of the house so I don't feel obligated to do anything, but hang out.
