Just thought I’d make a quick update, since it’s been a rather long week and I haven’t checked in lately AND for some odd reason my workplace doesn’t have us blocked out of LJ for the moment. I strongly suspect that this is a temporary thing, but gather ye roses and all that, right? XD

Glad to hear your mom is doing better. Keeping my fingers crossed for Spot. Hopefully the meds will do the trick. When is Mati and Em going to be here? Have to make plans to torture them have cheesecrack during the visits.

Mati's arriving on (I think) the 10th and Em on the 17th; Mati's heading out on (I think, again) the 19th and Em on the 28th. Looking WAY forward to their showing up-- it'll be like having several weeks' worth of birthday! (Just so long as my poor Mom didn't have to stretch her labor out for that length of time... and btw, thanks; yeah, she's doing *much* better. And hopefully Spot will too. Prozac for cats; very strange.)

Jacalyn's graduation is the 22nd so you can bring Em along to that.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed over Spot as well.

It looked like a lot of fun when I watched Perrin teaching y'all last night. I just don't need to get into another thing that costs money ... I'm already going down the path of doom by entering the baronial A&S competition in May.

It was great to see you out at FP last night! I didn't even realize you went over to the rapier field - You go, Girl! I can see you as a swishy-poke ;-) If you need help with fabric parts of fencing gear, let me know ... I have a huge stash of fabrics and I bet we could get you some garb sewn up quick.

Mucho thankees! Yeah-- actually fenced for several years before ever *hearing* of the SCA, more than 25 years ago. Did a bit in Drachenwald too, but that was more than a decade back too; getting old and cranky, aren't I? Swishypokyness has always looked like fun, but it was always something my Ex did, not me; guess it took a few years for me to get that stupid notion out of my head.

I'll keep the offer in mind re: sewing-- I just may take you up on it! Thanks hugely! **hugs**

While I do not have a PhD in vet medicine, my degree field IS Psychology.
