My big toenail fell off for no apparent reason one time and it was definitely an odd feeling. It wasn't raw and tender like you'd expect, but it was really sensitive. I can't imagine losing all twenty toe and finger nails.

Yose nabe sounds really good, provided I can eat around the onions.

Aaaargh; can't spell worth a damn some days, others I'm a massive perfectionist about it. Sorry!

New York... the really funny thing is I've been sort of semi-planning a trip for about 2 years, not for any particular reason, Just Because. And my sister had a blast there (she traveled by AmTrak; the only bad part about the whole trip was that she and her family *all* came down with the flu on the way back and spent the return trip sick as dogs.) I love traveling; I will absolutely go wherever and whenever I can, just to GO. Anywhere. Soooooo... I'm thinking about it. 'Haven't been there' is a perfectly valid reason to go, so far as I'm concerned. ^_^

Hah, travel for travel's sake anywhere? I like that theory. I definitely support it. ♥ Had I the funds I would, too. ^^ As it is, I have a spare mattress, whether as a waystation or anything else. Just sayin'. ♥
