**highly pleased with self** I just cooked a trial-run batch of Chocolate Lava Cakes, and me and Icka have been stuffing our faces on 'em. They came out pretty damn good, if I say so myself-- okay, I *might've* overcooked them by possibly two minutes, so tomorrow when I do the larger batch for my SCA household get-together, I'll remember that. They were remarkably easy-- just be sure you're using the right kinds of molds (about twice the volume as muffin-molds, called ramekins or ramkins. I found mine at a cake-decorating/candymaking shop.) And be sure to turn 'em out while they're still VERY HOT. I also ran a butter-knife around the mold-edges and a couple of inches down, because the sugar-butter stuff on the outer surface crisps up pretty damn quick and tends to stick.

Have fun! Oh, and I had to cook 'em a few minutes longer, but that may've just been my oven. Dunno. Either way, they were taaaaaaaaasty...
