today was the second windiest day in davis (according to the dayanita center for statistics) and it was also the day i decided to wear a skirt and bicycle to class. the plus side was that it was not cold, it was just windy. the other plus is that i am getting better at riding with one hand (that's what she said?), so i could hold down my skirt as

i, too, have a teacher something sort of like that. he rides his bike across campus (doesn't own a car) and blasts alicia keys from his bike speakers, blows bubbles from the rooftops of lecture halls, wears black black black and the occasional bush-hating shirt...and is sort of just generally fantastic. completely depressed, i'm sure, but fantastic. :D

he's so fantastic. :D i'm taking his class -- culture, art & technology II: science fiction and technology -- next quarter. it's such a neat take on a core class :]

oh, realism. we can put that off. ;]

school is fine, almost over (!) - which is what i'm really focusing on anyways. i'm taking a bit of a lighter load next quarter, so hopefully i can focus on writing and living and all those things i miss doing so much.
