The starter on my car has completely stopped working. My roommate and I attempted to give it a jump this morning, but that didn't work (as we suspected), so I guess we'll try to tow it to the shop tomorrow, hopefully. In the meantime, I've missed a couple of classes and I'm about to take the bus to work. Joy

If you haven't towed it yet... look into find a used starter in the junk yard and replacing it yourself OR finding someone to replace it for you. I replaced the starter in my Jeep (well Kiel helped) and it was pretty damn easy. But, even if you dont wanna do it yourself, you can pay someone $50 to do it and between that and getting a used one, you'll save several hundred $.

ditto the comment above. In addition, you have my deepest sympathies for bussing it in Anchorage, Its almost faster to walk anywhere in Anchorage over the bus
