Out and about today to pay bills and get my hair done. I usually spend an hour longer at the salon than I did today and she charged me $10 less....all with the same result. *ponders at the thought* Must have been my lucky day. Stopped on my way home at "My" Speedway to spend $5 of the $10 I saved on powerball tickets. Saturday night I had the ( Read more... )

Don't do like I've done too many times in the past and forget to get one! Consider this your official reminder! (I'm sure there's a cute nurse out there who will remind you too! *grins*)

I won't...now that I'm not carpooling, it's very easy to stop by the store with the self service machine on the way home...very convenient.

I was happy to find the machines...two grocery stores here have them for both the lotto tickets (all the various games we have) and the scratchers. Just before Christmas I went in to buy a lotto ticket and there was some using the lotto machine...while I waited I bought a scratcher (first one in many years) and won $500...used that money for Jeanetta's Valentine's flight to see me ( ... )

Now that I think about it, I have seen one at Foodland. It has pull tabs I know for sure but I don't know what else, if anything. I have a client who RUNS to that machine every time the staff takes him there grocery shopping. Because of the impulse control issues associated with his brain injury, we try not to take him too many places where he can gamble...he comes from a family of gamblers which makes it worse. He is doing better and now allots himself xxx amount each month to gamble with...be it bingo or lottery tickets ( ... )

The job sounds good (and good luck!), but that's a rough amount of commuting...4 hours a day...ouch!

Let's keep those lotto wins coming :-)

None of us would have to work if only one of us would win the biggie! I'm all about sharing the wealth with my loved ones!

I know, I know...it is a huge commute. I must consider it a stepping stone to greater things though and maybe a lateral move back to this area somewhere down the line.

One good thing is that there is a lot of travel involved with the branch visiting providers all across the state. The other specialist is burnt out with the travel and has already told me that if I get the position, I can have all the travel related work I want. This would allow me to leave from my home rather than from Frankfort. Travel time is included in your 8 hour day also. When they come to visit Radical Rehab, they get here at 10 or so and leave at 2:30 or so. Now that's VERY enticing! :)
