last night was excellent.  by far the best party i've been to which obviously makes it the best party we've had thus far.  for the first time since i've been in college, i was in a room at simmons with an even number of guys and girls.  it was great.  we met some new people and played some games and had a lot of fun.  i saw jenna for the first time ( Read more... )

i just made the mistake of rereading my entries from last spring.  i was just curious to see if i had actually written anything non-vague about that break up.  i can't believe i was that depressed last semester.  i didn't think i was capable of that.  i think i'm happier now... but not by much.

sometimes its way too hard to be friends with people you've hooked up with.

in other news, i'm fully enjoying how windy it is right now.

ballet is not my thing.  i'm pretty much ballet-ed out right now.  we're studying it in 2 of my 4 classes and i had to attend the boston ballet last night for one of them.  don't get me wrong... i love cultural arts.  i love opera especially but i found the ballet to be boring (i know, i like opera and i hate the ballet?!)  i liked the costumes, ( Read more... )

which is not to say i don't like flowers.  i just like cupcakes more.

but they're probably the sweetest thing i've ever been given. 

i just had my interview with oranim to go to israel!  i called some 800 number and an israeli guy asked me exactly the same questions i had already answered in my application so it was kind of pointless.  but hey, its thier phone bill.  they told me they did the interviews alphabetically and i'm the last name on the list.  so i guess thet didn't ( Read more... )

the love quad...er, triple has had an exciting week thus far.  one roommate was hit by a car yesterday and the other is in the ER for some kind of sickness.  i love being the only one healthy and intact.  let's just hope this kind of thing doesn't come in 3s...

you never realize that you're always with the same people until you get away.  this isn't a bad thing, just a realization.  last night was just what i needed: a night with my boys.  originally i went home to see rebecca while she was in town for the weekend with some friends from goucher.  somehow that turned into dinner with conor as well.  conor ( Read more... )
