For part 1 -
http://your-muffin.livejournal.com/2009/02/03/ You walked in to my life,
But just like that,
You walked back out,
Still you will be a memory,
A memory that I have created in my mind,
Still you will be a memory,
A memory that will always be locked,
Away in my heart and my mind,
I will always have a memory of you in my heart,
And I will always carry that picture of you in my mind,
Still you will be a memory,
Nicole Edwards
I hear the door opening - I want to open my eyes to see who it is but I recognize her voice.
"Oh my God!" Gwen whispers, I hear her quick footsteps on the ground as she runs towards me.
Somehow she gets me onto the ground incredibly fast - I do not know why.
Why does she care? She loved Merlin; she followed him like a lost puppy- so how come she doesn't want me dead?
"Arthur please wake up." She pleads.
I sink back into my darkness; I know it will be followed by memories of you.
I don't think they'll be good ones, but at least I'll see you again.
That's all that matters.
Here comes the darkness to swallow me up........
See you soon my Merlin.
Flashback
~~~~~~~~~~~
Missing posters seemed to cover every wall, on them a picture of you, Gwen and Morgana. Originally I had also been in that picture but Morgana had edited it so it looked just like you three were in it.
In bold it said, "PLEASE, IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING PLEASE HELP."
It had only been two days since they -no, we- took you. As much as I wanted to be part of the gang I left you with them. Lancelot promised that no serious harm would come to you. I was a fool to believe him and not ask where they were taking you.
Another thing I didn't do.
On the third day that you were gone Nimueh confronted me.
"If anything is done to my brother I swear that I will kill you myself." Her eyes were a dark brown, filled with hate, "Look, I know that you have no idea were he is," her voice was broken, she suddenly looked like the young, scared girl she was.
"Please, I'm begging you. Is Merlin still alive?" Her dark eyes stated into mine, not in a challenging way like Morgana looked at me, but her eyes were filled with a cocktail of fear and hate.
"I-I," I had no idea; Lancelot had promised that nothing would happen to Merlin.
No wait, he had said nothing too bad would happen to him.
Lancelot had never promised anything - I knew that my latest thought was all over my face.
"Please, find out were he is - you know what they're capable of." That was all she said before she wandered off.
Later it hit me that she had very little hope left in her eyes.
But the truth was that, I knew, I had fed Merlin to the sharks.
"So, um, what have you done with Merlin?" I blurted out as I saw Lancelot.
"We left him in some abandoned warehouse, why?" Lancelot shrugged.
"Just curious," Arthur used his most charming smile, "Were about is this warehouse?"
For some reason Lancelot did not question me and simply told me where to find you.
Deep down I knew it was too late.
Ironically the warehouse was right next to the forest were we had that picnic on your birthday. Do you remember that squirrel that climbed onto your shoulder? The more I think of it the more I see how special you made my life.
You turned it from empty to whole in a single summer.
That was the best summer in my life. Just staying with you, no more and no less.
You were my reason for living and I blew it.
The police told us to sit tight as they checked the warehouse.
Morgana, Gwen, Nimueh and I took a shortcut in the forest to get to you as quickly as possible.
We got there about ten minuets after the police did - the first thing we saw was a body bag being shifted into the back of the police van.
"Please God no..." Gwen whispered just before Nimueh ran to the sack, before she clutched the bloody arm that had fallen out of the bag.
I felt frozen as I saw your lifeless body, your bloody face, your lifeless blue eyes...
Every night I see your eyes simply staring at me, posing the hardest question possible.
Why?
Do you want to know the honest answer? I really don't know.
