Coming home seems to be somewhat restoring my creative-ness. I'm chilling out, listening to good music, reading good books, and that soft, serene feeling begins to seep back into me. I just got back from a longer-than-expected trip into Brooklyn/North Jersey. I visited Doug's then un-air-conditioned apartment in the sweltering city heat. Wait, I've skipped the drum circle. I just learned that on June 24th, Rough Guide released a cd of music from Mali. I'm beyond excited about this. I came very close to making girly squealing noises, but stopped myself just in time.
