question for anybody who has done machon: what is the structure of each day? is it all planned out, or is there lots of free time? also, how often did you move from place to place in israel? how were the bus rides? how were the plane rides? finally, did you find that people were cliquey and stuck to their camp friends or did you make lots of new ( Read more... )

I went on Machon 2000, I dont know how much its changed, but its pretty much wake up early and each day is different. We moved around every 3-5 days depending on where you are. The bus ride wasn't bad, nor was the plane ride. Yeah its kinda cliquey, you hang out mostly with your camp friends but you also have an opportunity to make new friends. Machon is awesome, youll have a great time... im jealous

i was on machon 04

each day was very planned for us, often starting veryyy early in the morning. at night time around the hostels there was free time.

we moved every 2 or 3 days. the bus rides were good for napping. find a comfortable person to sit next to, you will be sleeping on them.

i made a lot of new friends, and kept old. its really up to you how much you want to branch out. its the same people who've been going to TY so you pretty much should already know the group dynamic.
