A new community was launched yesterday: community of English versions of the stories told by Russian speaking Haifa residents about what is actually going on there.  These are real people who are surviving there, in the north of Israel.

And we are translating their stories, as rapidly as we can and - specially for you. :))

As you guys should know, Israel is undergoing some serious hezbollah attacks and is taking war action in Lebanon. Tourism markets and other economy markets go down during war time. Today is Yom HaShoa, a day commemorating the victims of the Holocaust. Take a few minutes from your day, and think about how far the Jews have come since the liberation of the camps on May 8, 1945. does anyone know they are gonna do year course for O6-07 yet? cause i do! i only know one other person doing it and im not really a YJ person (never went to the camps or anything) so comment or something if you are gonna do it! ok and this whole post used an excessive ammount of the word "do" so id just like to acknowledge that....

wow, no one has posted since the end of june. yay for being the first person to post after ty. i was in yachad '05 both sessions. i want to go back to ty, still not believing i'm home.

hey guys. i'm going on year course in september but i've never done anything related to YJ before. is there anything i need to know? how should i prepare? what's it like? and is it cliquey because either it just is, or because other people will already know each other???
