That I only act to salve my reputation among the wardens. That I enjoy putting him down. That I don't care how he feels. That I have actively tried to drive a wedge between him and all his friends. I don't even know who all his friends are.

He is upset about being fired from the garden, too, but I was only trying to open the door to him interacting with other people at another job.
