The comment below was left on a Business Week article (How $100 Oil Could Help). It actually made me sick to my stomach...

I didn't make me sick, but it did make me cry. Didn't Hitler convince the German people that it was their right to invade other countries?

Found you through feature page linkage. :)

Come on, my friend. That comment was obviously sarcastic to the extreme. The religious Republican extremist advocating imperialist invasion so they can "get to work and back?" And the dismissal of green technology. It's 100% perfect "Republican" stereotype- it couldn't be more facetious or obvious. And if that wasn't enough, the guy's username is LatteLiberal! It may as well have "biting sarcasm post" flashing on it in ten foot tall neon letters.

And yet you, and a bevy of reply posters, lapped it up hook, line, and sinker.

It is rather amusing to see that liberals, who profess to be so open minded, commit such iron-fast, blatant stereotyping against Republicans- part of which includes labeling Republicans as stereotyping everybody. The irony is delicious.

It's a sad fact.

Imagine Tibet was a major exporter of oil... there'd be an uproar at what's going on there and the UK and US would soon be sticking their nose in!

Oil isn't the only fuel and won't last forever.

Such a shame.
