The comment below was left on a Business Week article (How $100 Oil Could Help). It actually made me sick to my stomach...

As a Christian and a Republican, I am astounded that our leadership refuses to invade Iran and Saudi Arabia and take over the oil we need to get to work and back! They are allowing the liberals to gain control with their hybrids, fuel economy laws and solar power. This is an outrage! We should not have to cower to "alternatives" when the Arabs have all the oil we want - CHEAP!
People really do think this way, don't they? They really think that invading other countries to steal their oil so they can drive their SUV's is ok, huh? And looking to alternative fuels and ways to protect our environment is cowering? What's in their water?
It makes me sad. Is there any hope? What do we have to look forward to? Neverending war, lies and fear, supremacy and arrogance? What a future.
