I am a Republican, the real kind, not the neo-George Bush kind. Anyone with a brain will realize that if America is to remain a super power it's going to have to lead the world in a new fuel of the future. Stealing primeval ooze from other countries will only bring about the swift downfall of the United States. In short, this guy is a jack ass regurgitating the views that his church has told him to think.

Even if it's in jest, that statement makes me so angry. You know that there are people out there who think that is completely acceptable behaviour.

I have no idea how I found your journal, but you are so right. What the hell is wrong with these people? Do they not care that we are destroying our environment with all of our modern "comforts"? It disgusts me that people have to be that pig-headed to want/"need" to use up everything so that the future generations of humans and animals won't have a decent place to live.
