Ryan was annoyed. There were times when he just shook his head and smiled indulgently at Seth's plans but there were other times when he just wanted to reach over to throttle the other boy. The latest plan beyond kissing him? Going out to some cemetery in the hopes to prove there were vampires.

Not that Ryan was entertaining the thought that there were such things but he wasn't comfortable with the idea of leaving Seth out there alone. The scene that he comes upon is disturbing to say the least.

He doesn't think about the woman or the possibilities, all he knows is Seth is in trouble and that protective instinct kicks in. So he comes out of nowhere, tackling the bitch to the ground and landing on top of her. He'd never hit a woman but maybe she's high on something and she's dangerous.

One minute Seth is being cornered and the next, the she-vampire was being tackled. To Seth this was a lucky break - the fact that he realized it was Ryan...he couldn't decide. After quickly getting over the shock of Ryan's arrival (he should have left a message for Nick) Seth quickly grabbed the broken part of the shovel, assessing the situation. It was strange how comfortable he felt in this capacity.

"Ryan!" he yelled, his friend ontop of the vampire.

Ryan looked down at the woman, watching her growl and that was when he saw her fangs. His brows snapped together in confusion and then his logical mind tried to dismiss it as her wearing a set of fake fangs or something. Not that he thought about it for long because he heard Seth yelling at him and he briefly glanced over his shoulder which gave the woman enough time to throw him off.

It surprised him how strong she was as she sent him flying to the side, rolling in the dirt before he looked up to watch Seth with the broken part of the shovel.

Seth yelled Ryan's name for the second time as the vampire did a kick-up into a standing position before cracking her neck. Snarling at Ryan, she turned back to Seth full game face on, charging at him, swinging a punch knocking the other boy in the jaw. He fell back into a grave stone, hitting the ground with a thud, his grip still on the stake.

As she came down ontop of him Seth whipped his head back, reverse head butting the bitch before pulling himself to his feet. "Can I just say, ow?" he asked, holding his finger up, before ducking under another punch and landing one of his own.
