I am feeling more and more like an invertebrate. Not in the sense that I haven't a backbone, but I've assembled this exoskeleton. It manages to, most of the time, protect what is still delicate inside, but does nothing for the fear of being crushed. It merely appears tough.

I am stuck.

I feel lost and disappointed. Certain friends seem distant. He was right, I am sometimes too giving. Time to put the focus back on myself, after all, that's all I can control.
