i calculated and realize i just spent approximately $780 on transportation this holiday. about two and half weeks holiday. and this is just Point A to Point B travel, not any inner city buses or trains.

after not the least drama, i made it from Holland to England. it feels unbelievably good to be back in the UK. the boat was quite nice, but i didn't exactly enjoy the journey. it felt more dodgy than being on a plane, for one. i don't like the fact that ships sink, haha. i arrived in England at 6:30 UK time, which was 5:30 in the time zone i'd been ( Read more... )

this will be a shockingly short entry. the Netherlands are amazing! been travelling around in Delft and Leiden, and a few tiny towns in between. Ellen's family, including her three younger brothers, are really sweet!
