He was always a little odd and never really fit in with other kids, thus making him an outcast from an early age. personality At first glance Dasom may seem to look unhappy, and even mean. It's not the case at all. What you're actually looking at is an expression she commonly wears when she gets lost in her thoughts. She doesn't pay as much attention to the ways her face moves, so it contorts at its own will. This usually happens when she's watching a movie (especially a thriller), or playing a videogame, and sometimes when reading, if the story is interesting enough. Her expressions, though severe, can snap in a cinch; she can be glaring with eyebrows twisted and nostrils flared for an extended period of time but the minute someone calls her name her lips will open and extend into a grin and any creases in her forehead will vanish

She had no siblings and was lucky enough to escape the Spoiled Only Child Syndrome; mom and dad firmly believed in discipline, though it never turned into anything violent. She went to a school near Chicago until receiving a letter declaring that she was a witch. It was a definite surprise, but the idea of magic was anything but new to the family since mom's sister was a witch as well. At first glance, Siwon might seem the quintessential Gryffindor--outgoing, strongly principled, loyal, and as competitive as they come. Especially on the quidditch field--he's been on the House team since his 3rd year, is currently team captain(*) and active Chaser, and has been approached by a scout, although he's not interested in playing professionally. His mother, however, instilled a healthy respect for academics and a curious mind into him at a young age, and he is strict about ensuring schoolwork does come first, for himself and his team. He is very responsible, was chosen as a prefect in his 5th year, and can always be counted on to lend an ear (or his shoulder) to his younger Housemates, when problems arise. A scant few close friends may know that he was very nearly sorted into Ravenclaw, in his first

Siwon is undeniably a perfectionist, when it comes to himself. He will excuse foibles and weaknesses in other people, but can be extremely self-critical towards anything less than what he knows is his absolute best effort. He is far more sensitive to criticism than he might outwardly appear, and has been known to go out of his way to befriend and charm people who seem to dislike him, at first. He is usually diplomatic and fairly good at mediating conflicts, but does have a hot temper, if one finds the right sequence of buttons to set him off. It burns out quickly, though, and he's typically left quite embarrassed and apologetic in its wake, as he was always the only one in his family to have such emotional outbursts, growing up.

Siwon's parents are proud of their son and care for him a great deal, but both tend to be emotionally reserved in comparison to Siwon. He has always tried his hardest for their approval, but sometimes (subconsciously) is left with the impression that he can never quite satisfy them or be as perfect as

Shortly before leaving China prior to his enrollment at Yonsei, Siwon's parents were encouraging him to choose a pet. While he was leaning toward wanting a dog, his mother didn't care for them at all. His father offered him the use of a prize snake, perhaps expecting he would also be sorted into Slytherin, but truthfully Siwon hoped for something a little... cuddlier. When he chanced upon a red panda cub of dubiously legal origin tethered in a small Wizarding shop in a Beijing back alley, and it promptly raided his pockets for sweets, it was love at first sight. The cub left with him, he left some galleons lighter, his parents allowed that it was at least more intelligent than a puppy and cleaner than an owl, and it was immediately saddled with the cumbersome moniker of 'Megas Hephaistion', courtesy of some questionable historical fiction featuring the wizard of that name that Siwon had been devouring at the time. Over the next few months, the cub's name was shortened to a much more manageable 'Hep', except on special occasions

Personality:People find him both incredibly unusual and surprisingly delightful at the same time, which brings about migraines if contemplated on for too hard. There’s this strange alien quality about him because he has that far away look in his eyes and his smile is ethereal. And yet his agreeable disposition and soft voice has the ability to sooth the shortest of tempters. People often underestimate him when they first meet, thinking he’s some kind of airhead or pathetically innocent boy. But the moment something interests him or piques his strong curiosity, his eyes instantly focuses and clears. He probably also knows more about how the human body works than the average student

This habit carried on even to this day. Although his parents finally did come to realize the oddity that is their son, they could appreciate his unquenchable thirst for knowledge. So instead of shooting him down, they encouraged his hobby of going out into town just to sit in the park and watch people for hours, occasionally stopping to scribble furiously in his journal. Sometimes instead of writing, he would draw, or take pictures of the things he observed. By the time he was ten, Zhou Mi already had boxes full of these journals
