1. To say "no" to people when I need to, and stick with it.
2. To remember that I'm not responsible for the expectations my relatives have of me, and I'm not obligated to do everything they want me to do.
3. To set aside my insecurities and write those stories I keep meaning to write, no matter how crappy I'm afraid they'll be.

...because he gave me a digital camera for Christmas. Am still running around in (metaphorical) circles of mirth. Yipeeeee!!!

EDIT: Well, he is actually awesome for far many more substantial reasons, but you know, this was a really nice surprise. :)
