    Just finished getting over being sick, and then had a terrible meeting with a professor today.  Will my prospectus ever get defended?  I'm going back into hibernate mode.

I just had to share this.  We have the most adorable postal delivery man.  Whenever we get packages delivered, our delivery man sticks the package under our welcome mat.  :) I suppose this is his attempt to prevent someone from stealing it, but it's not like putting a thin little mat over a two foot box magically hides it.  It's really cute.  It ( Read more... )

I am now a good two weeks into my last term in Korea, which means that my stay here is two-thirds over. I'm not in the mood to be self-reflective about my time here yet, and it seems entirely too soon to be doing that anyway. I'm back from my backpacking adventure in Japan where, despite sleeping in elevators, bathrooms, and on the roofs of buildings in sub-zero temperature, we emerged unscathed. I know I rather disappeared for a bit, but just a quick update to say that all is well and I am missing all of you so much right now. Holidays are hard when you're away from family and friends.
