Thanksgiving has come and gone. I spent most of the week sleeping off a rather nasty cold. When I wasn't asleep, I was cooking or eating or playing a board game. Or watching Project Runway. That happened for quite a few hours. But yeah, that's all over now. Lovely to see mom and the puppies, of course (Clober got so big!), but I have to get back to ( Read more... )

AHAHA, I LOVE YOU DUCKY!!!

No, his family owned the deli, so it was easy to find out what his name was.
...although, my family owns a farm and some cows in the Dominican Republic, which is kind of cool too?

HAHA! You are a stalker!

Have you seen him since? Does he have FB?

Did you know there is a video of Gackt photos to the song, "I Touch Myself?"

WAIT! WHEN DID, or did it, the Project Runway season restart?!

Oh, no, I only saw him for maybe 5 minutes this afternoon, and then I thought I'd see if he had a Facebook so I could look at his cuteness again. Couldn't find him there (although I did find his younger brother...), but he does have a MySpace. It's set to private, but whatever, I succeeded in my stalking ways!

You know, I get the feeling I watched that several times back in the day. I'm only just recently being able to listen to his music again, so I think fanvids are out of the question for the time being.

NEVER FEAR! I was simply catching up on Season 5, because MIT Cable does not have Bravo. I forget when the new season starts, but it'll be in LA and on Lifetime so it automatically won't be as good :( But dude, I didn't know you liked Project Runway! Isn't it fab? I am so in love with Tim Gunn...

MAKING HISTORY IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE NOVEL STEPHEN FRY HAS EVER WRITTEN. READ IMMEDIATELY. IT IS SO DENSE.

OH I TOTALLY READ IT. STAYED UP TILL 4 BECAUSE I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. THOUGHT IT WAS EFFING FANTASTIC.

(I just have a ton of issues involved with spending money, so I'm always hesitant to buy things. Even though it's completely stupid in this case, because it was a freaking gift certificate given to me by my employers and, like, I shouldn't care about spending their money. And yet, I hesitate.)

No, I'm that way as well. Also: go paperback. my edition, I think, is a paperback advanced reading copy, but having worked in a place that preserves books, paperbacks actually tend to hold up better.

Huh. It's funny how you just assume that hardcovers would last longer, but even in my personal experience I've noticed that that isn't always the case. Interesting.
