Randomly, I checked out the interests section on your profile page, and was pleasantly surprised to find someone else who likes Tamora Pierce. I've only ever picked up the series with Alanna in it, but I remember loving the characters and the story so much. ♥

Well, I can provide rambly, at least. I'll try to aim for interesting, too.

(I should update my interests section someday.) She's a great author, so I recommend picking up the other series--the Song of the Lioness quartet was good, but her later ones are even better, imo.
