My year is off to a good starting reading-wise... so far this month, I've finished:

Brother Odd by Dean Koontz -- quite a good read, it's the first book I've read by Koontz.  makes me want to pick up a few more by him.

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult -- so very good, I cried at the end.  HIGHLY recommended.

My Mom loves Dean Koontz and Odd Thomas series is her favorite. I think Odd Thomas is the first book in the series.

i believe you're right. i'm tempted to go back and read the other two, but might pick up something else instead. i'm told "Intensity" is really good. but first i need to finish my current book ("Beautiful Lies" by Lisa Unger).

bridge to terabithia is going to be coming out as a movie in the near future...or could be a tv show. i saw an ad for it the other day...

yea, i heard something similar, which is another reason why i picked it up. it was only OK. (i'll get my youtube-whore of a boyfriend to find the trailer for us). :)
