apparently you can't fold a piece of paper, no matter how big, more than 7 times.

Darn. I was trying to work that out in my head last night. Cuz if it's a really small piece of paper, it gets really hard to fold so I thought it might help if you have a huge sheet. Darn.

But it only gets 6.4mm thick... why not? o_O If it's 8 times, than it's still "only" 25.6mm, which ain't too bad, right?

haha my dear girl, 6mm is slightly over half a cm. that IS quite thick. 25.6mm = 2.56cm. go take a really large piece of paper and try folding it. go try!

Hey

I've just reread all of my lj posts, and you know what? it struck me that even though i've never seen you in real life, you're still one of the most consistent of all my friends. You're always willing to talk to me honestly about anything, and you always did read practically everything i came up with on my lj, no matter how long or irrelevant. That's more than i can do for anyone at all. I feel overwhelmed by this sudden need to say "thank you"

So.. Thank You.

Yours,
Gordon
