*is quietly approaching the lab for his appointment, dreading Vexen's reaction to his near-consistent tardiness* -
Sleeping in is so nice...
*unable to remember whether or not he had an appointment with Vexen this morning, he curls towards the warmth next to him, flopping his face on his pillow and smearing a little drool*

It's morning...
*and after pleasant, warm dreams, he pulls on a pair of cotton pants to block the cold in the hallway and upon looking at the clock in his bedroom, skips his breakfast and makes his way right to the labs, knocking gently on the door to let Vexen know he's there* -
... all of these roofs look the same!
*a baby replica has portaled onto the Islands late at night, and much like Santa Claus, is roof-hopping, trying to remember which one belongs to Ri's "people" (the thought alone makes something that feels like Anger bubble in his gut), before stumbling on one in particular that makes things rather easy*

The first day.
Or... at least my first day. I can't remember anything before this. He hasn't let me out again this morning. I think I wandered too far. Is there anything outside of this laboratory? Is there light, is there anything soft?
