So. I've been thinking.

We get a fair amount of Catwoman prompts, not nearly as much as the Whump!Wally or ForeverAlone!Kaldur (Man, is this fandom predictable) but still a good amount. Mama!Cat, Dick as Catlad, the works.

But none of them ever get filled. Ever.

I have not seen one actual Catwoman fill. (Save you, cool Artfill person whose name I forgot)

The lack of Catwoman fills may have something to do with the fact that this is a Young Justice anon meme, not a Gothamverse anon meme (despite a fair amount of evidence to the contrary).

Please forgive my butting in. I was put off by the (seemingly) disparaging remark on the "predictability" of this fandom, when as a fan of the show itself, I actually feel pretty alienated by the abundance of prompts relating to Batman characters who have never actually appeared in it.

I hope your prompt gets filled, along with all the Wally whump and Kaldur angst out there.

I wasn't attempting to trash your prompt, just the embedded comment that trashed other prompts.

But yes. Let's let it be. Obviously people are interested in Robin's world and that's why they prompt it, so more power to 'em.

Well, this is a YJ meme, but it's about a lot of other things too. I've seen tons of arbitrary characters here for no other reason then that they're cool. That's what fanfiction is. If it has anything to do with YJ at all, it's welcome on this meme. So, where dozens of other people have posted relevant Catwoman fills of her interacting with Dick or YJ, I'm adding one more. That's all, or at least that's my reasoning.

As one of the many people who has prompted Catwoman, I second this heartily.

As one of the people who has also prompted a ton of Robin!whump, I also agree with the... predictability bit. So yeah. Catwoman. Because even the obscure-DC-character-related prompts here get fills (and I love those fills, just clarifying), so I don't understand: why not Catwoman? Catwoman is awesome.

Yessssss. I want roll around in this fill like catnip. It's glorious to see Cheshire as a human being capable of being scared shitless, but proud enough to try anyway. Not to mention - growing up in Gotham in her family, Catwoman was probably considered a role model.

I do love Cheshire, and I'm glad you thought I'm writing her well - I wasn't sure if she was uncharacteristically weak or not. Yeah, Catwoman is a bit of a role model - and a rival, not to mention quite the legend herself, going toe-to-toe with Batman like she does.

Oh my god, fill! This is absolutely amazing!

Catwoman's awesome in character, and it's nice to see the vulnerable, first person view of Cheshire, who was an interesting choice.
