Heheh, so I really wasn't supposed to take on another prompt when I'm still so far from finishing my other one, but I just couldn't help myself after the thought of Kitten!Robin practically tackled me to the floor. I mean, how cute is that? very

So, I am working on this. I may even post the intro in a day or two after going over it. But between this and my other fill, it may be a week or two before it's complete. (If I state my timeline in my claim, then I have to follow through with it, right? Logic wins!)

But my fill will focus more on just the random kitten-cuteness and team dynamics, and won't have any half-human-half-cat Robin. So if anyone really wanted that, I strongly encourage another anon to go and make it happen!

OP is very excited. And yes- the half-human-half-cat!Robin was certainly not required, just one super long bonus that was an excuse for he and Wally to have sexy times. :3

Wait wait wait! Hold up! I don't want to start any wank, so let me just apologize first. I'm sorry I wasn't very clear. I love your prompt. I actually spent about fifteen minutes trying to second it, but LJ was being stupid as it is sometimes, and I couldn't comment. The giving-up-civilian-life was a part of the prompt I was a bit iffy about, but a long prompt might have any little part that someone doesn't like. I would've read a fill for this whether Dick retained feline characteristics or not, because the prompt hits all my buttons. Seriously. I do adore the idea of Robin with cat ears and tail (it's the only thing in the world that's both sexy and adorable) and I've been trying to make an artfill for you with kitty-eared!Robin, but they all keep turning out sucky. So I'm really, really sorry that it seemed like I was bashing your prompt. I didn't mean for it to look like that. I love it, and I'm tremendously happy it's getting filled.

oh ok. Thank you for clearing that up. Thank you also for not being indignant about it. :D I very very much appreciate the honesty and the humility... how about I give you internet hugs? I think that sounds like a good idea.

And don't worry about the artfill- someone on deviantart already has a kitten!Robin, and you are right- it's freaking adorable, yet he looks so rapeable- if only Wally was in that picture. To make matters worse, he's sticking his ass out and telling everyone to kiss it. Oh, that boy just puts himself out there to be molested. :P

Oh, and the civilian life part was the one I wasn't too happy about, but I realized that if he suddenly becomes half-cat... like, how would he even be able to be a civilian anymore. Or at the very least he'd have to stop being Robin- I imagine Bruce would pretend he's sick or something, I don't know- I'm just trying to find a way around it... :P

I definitely have more than this written, but I don't want to post it until I'm closer to finishing the whole fic (I have a tendency to tweak things around a lot). And I'm actually still working on another fill (which I claimed before this one), so I'm not sure how quickly this will be updated. But consider this introduction an act of good faith, so that no one thinks I walked away.
Again, it's not exactly what the OP was asking for, but... it's still Kitten!Robin. And how does anyone say no to that?

The team stood there, absolutely stunned.

The aftermath of their battle with what's-his-face-or "Creepy-Vampire-Looking-Guy-With-A-Wig" as Wally had dubbed him-had been extensive. There was rubble everywhere, the enemy's near-constant barrage of spells ricocheting throughout the building the main culprit, and not a single one of them had come out of the encounter without at least minor injury. Ohmygod, author anon, you cannot even imagine how delighted I am at the idea of Batman standing there, scowling and stroking a wee little tiny kitten with his big gloved hands, and he is totally unamused because this is serious. It's everything I wanted today to be. If I can find the pen to my graphics tablet I am drawing the hell out of this.

Oooh, they'll have to potty-train kitty!Robin now. Have fun, guys. I know it wasn't fun for me the first couple days, having to clear out litter from every other space my cat could literally dig into (my mom's poor potted plants...).

I can see Flash bringing in a giant bag of cat toys. That is so amazing.
