So Robin is quite a bit older now (tall, dark and handsome-freakin'-gorgeous) and while he may or may not have started thinking about going solo already, he has decided that it's time for a costume change. Something less... colorful.

He starts designing his Nightwing outfit... and asks for his team's opinion.

The team immediately takes over with way more enthusiasm than Robin expected. Suddenly no one cares about what Robin thinks anymore, even though it's his costume ( ... )

Truly this was the dumbest thing Dick Grayson had ever seen in all his years, and he's seen some of the Riddler's schemes. His team, plus Roy, and Zatanna, were busily working to create his new costume. He had idly mentioned working on a new outfit to Young Justice, and they had immediately jumped on the suggestion. Quickly working out roles for themselves, his least favorite person at the moment was Artemis, who insisted she would ensure the costume showed off his 'sexy-bod'-her words-best.

He had tried to object, and even refused to give out measurements to Con, who was in charge of comfort. Wally-in second place for most hated person of the moment-had scuttled the usefulness of that course of action by immediately rattling off his exact measurements. There were many questions he wanted to ask about that development, but the situation pushed forward before he had recovered from the shock of 'Wally knows my current measurements by heart!?'. Artemis hadn't even taunted him about it-apparently she 'shipped' them or some other stupid ( ... )

When Black Canary finally finished cleaning out his mouth and giving him a stern lecture about proper superhero decorum and word choice; in particular that 'fuckass' is not now, or ever, an acceptable word, for anyone the team had finished the costume, and M'gann, as him obviously, was wearing it. It really wasn't as bad as he had feared, it was sleek, looked sturdy, had some manual not magical pouches as well as some that probably were, it's primary colour was black with sudden vibrant splashes of light blue. It was actually quite a nice outfit despite Dick's misgivings on his team's fashion sense, especially when they all got thrown into a melting pot ( ... )

Oh. I'd given up on this prompt ever being filled, and I come home after a crappy exam to find this!

It was so freakin' hilarious! With Kaldur being all nonchalant and Roy being awesome even though he doesn't say anything and Black Canary! When I prompted this, Zatanna hadn't shown up yet, but the idea of using magic to allow the suit more storage space was quite innovative. So many things make sense now. I adored the reference to kidnapping, and subsequent suggestion of 'alone time'. Not to mention Dick's (it's basically become one of those unsaid canon details, no point denying it anymore) redhead kink ( ... )

I live to please. I'm glad it came at such a desperately needed time. Oh dear, I know I should go for the oatmeal, Alfred's great he would make delicious melt-in-your-mouth goodness worthy of the gods themselves. But, I want those cupcakes they shall be mine and I won't share them with anyone.
