Bruce comes home drunk from a charity event and does something incredibly embarrassing/fluffy for/to/with Dick.

Like sing an 80s rock ballad to him, coddle, thickly lay on the father/son spiel, try to hive him the talk, whatever.

Could be a 5+1 thing? Multiple fills encouraged!

He's heard people talk about it before after they find out Batman's secret identity. Which one is really the mask?

Now don't get him wrong he loves Bruce. He wants Bruce to be happy. Seriously though, he wishes it was an act.

Bruce is awesome, Brucie is just embarrassing.

The first time it happens he isn't even Robin yet. He's been with Bruce for a few months and he just found out he's Batman. He's still trying to convince Bruce to let him help ( ... )

Dick has had fake ID's for the last two years, sense he was 16, but this is the first time he's actually used one to buy alcohol. He's at a hotel or a pent house or something, he can't really remember, sitting on the floor, arms wrapped tightly around Ace ( ... )

The second time it happens is about a year later. He's been to a few parties with Bruce before this and he's figured out that most the time Bruce only acts drunk. Bruce acting drunk is only a little embarrassing and it's usually in front of a lot of rich people Dick doesn't really care about.

Dick can totally tell the difference by now too. He's been on the streets as Robin a few times already and he's getting a lot better at noticing things.

"Dickie! Dickie come over here and meet Amanda!" That's the first clue right there. When Bruce fakes being drunk he never gets the ladies names right. Dick thinks he just likes to see how many names he can come up with in a night. He can't really blame him either, these things are boringBruce swings his arm around and lands a hand in Dicks hair as he makes his way over ( ... )
